Position Description

VOLO is hiring an IT Support Engineer who will be responsible for the smooth operation of the organization's information technology systems. IT Support engineer's main role involves providing technical assistance and support to staff members, resolving hardware and software issues. The position holder is responsible for implementation of asset inventory management policy.

 

What you will do

  • Provide timely response to all incidents, resolving hardware and software issues;
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems; 
  • Enforce and maintain IT security policies to protect company data and resources;
  • Manage and execute regular computer system updates and backups to ensure data integrity and security;
  • Manage and maintain an organized inventory of IT equipment and supplies, ensuring accurate asset tracking and monthly inventory reporting;
  • Provide support for peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and external drives;
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning and equipment assignment;
  • Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
     

What You Need to Have

 

  • Proven experience in IT support or a related field;

  • Strong knowledge of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting;

  • Ability to quickly assess and address problems, escalating as necessary;

  • Detail-oriented and capable of working on multiple problems simultaneously; 

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
