1. Introduction
Welcome to work.am (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Site”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Site and any related services provided by work.am, including but not limited to job postings, resume submissions, and job application services (collectively, “the Services”). By using the Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using the Site.
2. Eligibility
To use the Site, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable laws.
- Agree to comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws, rules, and regulations.
The Services are intended for use in The Republic of Armenia. Accessing the Site from jurisdictions where its use is illegal is prohibited.
3. Account Registration and Security
When registering for an account on the Site, you agree to:

- Regularly update your information to ensure its accuracy.

- For Job Seekers: Job listings, resume submission tools, and application tracking.
- For Employers/Recruiters: Tools for posting jobs, managing applications, and reviewing resumes of job seekers.
The Site also offers premium services, such as featured job listings for an additional fee. We do not guarantee that employers will hire candidates or that job seekers will receive job offers.
5. Use of the Site
By using the Site, you agree to:
- Use the Services only for lawful purposes related to employment.
- Provide truthful and accurate information in your profile, job postings, and applications.
- Not engage in activities such as spamming, phishing, or disseminating harmful content.
- Not post any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory, or violates any third-party rights (including intellectual property rights and privacy).
Employers and recruiters agree not to:
- Post false or misleading job opportunities.
- Post any discriminatory, abusive, or inappropriate content in job listings.
- Violate any applicable employment laws, including but not limited to wage, working conditions, and equal opportunity laws.
6. Payment and Subscription Services
Certain features on the Site are accessible only through a paid subscription or one-time fee, such as premium job postings.
You agree to the following:
- All payments are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of access to services.
work.am reserves the right to change its pricing structure at any time. If we do, you will be notified in advance, and your continued use of the paid services will be considered acceptance of the new fees.
7. Content and Intellectual Property
All content available on the Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by or licensed to work.am and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Site without prior written permission.
User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Site, such as resumes, cover letters, job postings, and other materials. However, by submitting content to the Site, you grant work.am a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your content for the purposes of operating the Site and providing Services.
We reserve the right to remove or edit any content that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate at our discretion.
8. User Obligations
For Job Seekers:
- You are responsible for ensuring that the information in your resume and job applications is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to the job positions you are applying for.
- You acknowledge that job applications submitted through the Site may not guarantee a response or job offer.
For Employers and Recruiters:
- You agree to post only legitimate job opportunities and to provide accurate descriptions of job positions and qualifications.
- You are responsible for complying with applicable labor laws and non-discrimination laws in all job postings.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, work.am and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for:
- Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or damage to reputation, arising from your use of the Site or Services.
- Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in job postings or resumes.
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our secure servers or personal data stored on the Site.
- Any failure by employers to follow through on job offers or by job seekers to accept job offers.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Site or Services is limited to the amount you paid for the Services in the preceding 6 months, or $100, whichever is less.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless work.am, its affiliates, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of:
- Your use or misuse of the Site.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your infringement of any intellectual property or other rights of a third party.
11. Termination
work.am reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice if we believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in unlawful activities. Upon termination, your right to use the Site will cease immediately, and we may delete any content associated with your account.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team. Upon termination, all fees paid are non-refundable.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of The Republic of Armenia. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or the Site will be resolved through binding arbitration in The Republic of Armenia, except that either party may seek injunctive relief for claims of intellectual property infringement.
13. Changes to the Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and significant changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after the changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
